Narayanan Sundaram is a research scientist in Intel’s Parallel Computing Lab. His research interests generally include parallel applications and throughput computing. He has worked on making computer vision (video/image segmentation, optical flow) and machine learning (support vector machines, convolutional neural networks) algorithms computationally efficient through numerical optimizations and parallelization on multicore/GPU/clusters.
